Terms of Service
When you create a LEAF account you agree to the following:
• As a member of LEAF, each order I place is a legally enforceable contract. If I fail to pickup my LEAF order, I am still obligated to pay for the items I order.
• If I am not available on a delivery day, I will have someone else pick up my order, as the products will need refrigeration or placed in the freezer on the day of delivery. Orders not picked up will be donated or composted.
• The pick-up locations are not responsible/liable for my order or its contents, as they are a separate entity from LEAF.
• LEAF will deliver the box on Thursday afternoon to your chosen pick-up location or to your home if I paid for delivery.
• LEAF reserves the right to substitute the member’s selection to a different farm as we have universal standards for all produce at each of our farms. Substitutions may occur.
• LEAF members will receive an email from LEAF when the market opens (Friday at noon). It is the responsibility of each member to log in during market hours and select their items before the close of the market (Tuesday at 8:00pm).
• LEAF products have been grown using sustainable practices including crop diversity, organic soil improvements, and crop rotation. Our goal is to provide the highest quality produce and items. Our growers and makers are required, according to LEAF bylaws, to offer market-grade products. The customer understands our farmers do not use pesticides or herbicides and the fruits and vegetables may have minimal insect damage.
• By investing in a LEAF membership, I will share the rewards and the risks of the growing season along with the other members and the growers.
